Join us for Australia’s Biggest Week in Biotech on the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre, Queensland, from 19 to 23 October, 2026.  This October, the AusBiotech International Conference will be presented alongside the AusMedtech Conference and AusBiotech Invest,  connecting local expertise with Australian and international partners to accelerate innovation and impact. 

One conference registration will include access to the AusBiotech International Conference event as well as the AusMedtech Conference.

Millis Oration

Emeritus Professor Nancy Millis was a pioneering microbiologist whose groundbreaking work in fermentation processes and water purity helped shape Australian biotechnology. A trailblazer in genetic engineering, she also played a pivotal role in developing Australia’s biotechnology education, leaving a lasting legacy in both science and academia.
